Access Denied: What Cyber Bullying is Doing to our Kids
Internet technology has opened a new and still
immeasurable world of creativity and opportunity for all of us. That some
people use it to hurt others should not surprise us, but we must be prepared to
recognize abuse when we encounter it, especially when it comes to protecting children.
In this workshop we will review the ways
children have and can be hurt by internet use, what the consequences of
internet misuse can be, how to recognize signs a child is in distress, and how
to respond to and report the problem. 3 CEU's will be offered.
