This workshop will provide an overview of readjustment challenges faced by veterans returning from combat.  Topics will include medical and mental health problems, family and community reintegration, and benefits and services available to veterans.  Important considerations in diagnosing PTSD will be discussed and an overview of empirically supported treatments of PTSD will be provided.   The workshop will also address secondary traumatization and self-care of the clinician providing services to combat veterans.
