What does "evidence-based practice" mean?  In this era of information, how do you know what information is gleaned from scientific research and/or if that research is meaningful?  In this workshop, participants will be able to identify the hallmarks of sound research and learn how to be good consumers of research.  Methods for conducting a review of the social scientific literature will be covered as well as standard practices around critical analysis of a research project.
