Life is full of plans.  We create plans for school, our career, vacations and even for minor things in life like shopping.  Like our personal life, all good fundraising efforts begin with a strong development plan and your agency development plan ought to be part of the overall strategic plan for the organization.

This three hour workshop will allow participants to create individual plans for each of our agencies with measurable goals and objectives for the fiscal year.  Our plans will be investment-oriented, focusing on activities that will pay multiple dividends for years to come.  Each plan will identify the calendar, budget, and responsible parties for each and every measurable activity in the Development Department.

Three weeks prior to the workshop, participants will be sent a template, which will allow them to begin to draft their agency Development Plan.  This draft will be used as the launching point for us to create a comprehensive plan in the workshop.  The time invested in this pre-workshop advance work will allow for the session to be more meaningful for participants.  Participants are also encouraged to bring any existing agency development or strategic plans to the workshop.
