Retaining High Performers
presented by
Lyn Freundlich
Third Sector New England
It
is true that in this economy, employee turnover is low. Retaining star
performers may require little effort right now. But since the burnout rate in
our field is high, there is no better time for developing strategies to keep
our most valuable staff from jumping ship as soon as the winds change. Join
this participatory workshop to:
·
Understand
the role a successful supervisory relationship plays in retention;
·
Learn
to set and monitor performance goals and provide feedback so that staff know
how to be successful;
·
Consider
tips for rewarding and recognizing high performers, especially when resources
are limited;
·
Think
about the kinds of professional development opportunities that build staff
skill and make them feel valued and recognized.
