The Newport Initiative for Nonprofit Leadership
is a program of
Child & Family,
the lead agency for a collaboration of local agencies and organizations
committed to the children, adolescents and families of Newport,
RI. The Initiative is designed to strengthen the organizational
capacity of agencies and service providers who offer youth development
programs. We expect to bring a high level of expertise to program
leaders and key stakeholders with the overall goal of reducing child
abuse, neglect and violence. Through the Initiative we provide a
number of workshops, seminars, intensive training programs, technical
assistance and resources devoted to staff and organizational development.
